The Susan Polgar National Invitational for Girls will be held on July 27-August 1 at Texas Tech University.

This is absolutely wonderful! The fact that Ms. Polgar can excel at the game of chess is a great example to any young ladies who may want to follow her lead. Perhaps sometime in the near future, tournaments can be organized where the girls can play the boys for all the marbles. Certainly would be interesting.
I think it is great that Susan Polgar is promoting girls to play chess.
Polgar is a great role model and I hope to see a lot more girls and women play in the near future.
